Tangled String Studio

Aaron Lee Tasjan In Concert

Date and Times:

All performances at Tangled String Studios, RR7 at 2211 Seminole Drive in Huntsville, AL.

Synopsis: Another great show is coming to Tangled String Studios! East Nashville-based musician Aaron Lee Tasjan is an American singer-songwriter guitarist, reported to have his own distinct version of “indie folk grit.” Tasjan’s songs are indebted to great American storytellers like John Prine, Tom Petty, Guy Clark, Steve Goodman, Arlo Guthrie, and Todd Snider. They are imbued with wry wit, a sharp tongue, and a lot of heart. His self-released LP, In The Blazes, received accolades from American Songwriter, Rolling Stone, Nashville Scene, and NPR declaring Tasjan was an artist to keep an eye on. While that album hinted at Tasjan’s enormous potential, it’s his sophomore effort, his New West Records debut, Silver Tears, that best realizes his artistic ambitions and solidifies him as one of the most intriguing singer-songwriters to emerge in some time. Read What Others Say About Aaron Lee Tasjan:
NPR: A spectacular guitarist whose career has spanned punk and glam, Los Angeles country-rock, and East Nashville alt-country, Tasjan maintains his eclecticism in songwriting that’s equal parts dreamy and droll.
Rolling Stone: Nashville’s Aaron Lee Tasjan is a virtuosic guitarist and gifted vocalist. Rated one of the top 15 Great Country and Americana Albums You Didn’t Hear in 2016.
Songwriter: Silver Tears is an achievement that would make any singer-songwriter proud.
Nashville Scene: Aaron Lee Tasjan comes into his own standing onstage alone, a lovably self-deprecating embodiment of a paradox unique to alt. country and indie-rock singer-songwriters: the good-natured slacker who’s nonetheless a meticulous craftsman.

Tickets: $25 adv., $30 door. **IMPORTANT NOTE** Tickets are non-refundable unless the show is canceled or rescheduled. Patrons are invited to bring your own beverages! Venue capacity is 100+ seats.
