Charles Wesley is spending his 70th birthday doing what he has done all his life: writing a hymn. As he jots down the lyrics, he and his beloved wife Sally reminisce on their lives together: the many hymns he has written, the preaching he has done in conjunction with his brother John Wesley, founder of the Methodists. There are many fond memories... and also a few not so bright moments. As they remember, they also sing together several of his most memorable hymns.
